When I was visiting crownlaiddown's blog, I saw that she had joined in a new meme that the The Simple Wife has started called Memory Monday.
I guess in theory, I don't need to type anything out today, but I want to start, so I'll type out a verse I know by heart:
Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
My goal for next week is to have memorized Jeremiah 29:10-13.
I'm working on the button for the blog. I'm having a little issue right now. (I doubt you can click on the picture and have it work. It's cute though!)
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer. 29:11
The goal of Memory Monday is to engrave God's Word on our hearts (or a fancy way of saying we need to memorize some verses). There are all kinds of reasons for this, and all kinds of verses that support it. Simply put, as believers, we need to know the Word. By heart.
So, here are the "rules" to Memory Monday:
Each Monday pick a verse or passage to memorize for the upcoming week. And the next Monday, we'll type it out BY MEMORY and choose another one!

This is a great idea. What a wonderful way to "hide" God's Word in His children's hearts.
Many sweet blessings!
Congratulations! You won the Jars of Clay Christmas CD at Christian Women Online. Can you email me with your mailing address please?

I made a mistake... You won the other CD too. LOL!
So if you email me with your mailing address, maybe mention that you are the one who won both, ok?
I'm impressed!
Oh, I should mention, the other one again was Sixpence none the richer.
Sorry, I'm not leaving a comment that you won something like Darlene, but I wish you luck on the giveaway over at my place. Thanks for stopping by. I love your blog title. That is one of my favorite songs!!! =)
